Gold Accredited Tour Guide, Annette Henry is thrilled to be introducing a brand new local evening tour to her extensive repertoire.

The desire to bring German Occupation into the minds of islanders, was her drive in formulating this tour, but TALES OF THE UNEXPECTED cleverly juxtaposes the horrors of war with the healing powers of the beautiful parish of St Andre de la Pomeraye.  She guarantees you will be hearing stories that you may not be familiar with and visiting places you may not be aware of.

The coach/walking evening tour concludes with a private visit to the German Underground Hospital, itself an enigma as to why it was built.  The visit will be guaranteed to stimulate curiosity and conversation

The evening concludes with an excellent two course meal at the new Mint Brasserie at The Last Post.
