Gold Accredited Guernsey Tour Guide, Annette Henry, has been offering a variety of walking tours and themed guided walks in Guernsey, Alderney, Sark and Herm for the past 25 years and is delighted to announce that she has recently qualified as an Authorised Civil Celebrant throughout the Bailiwick.

Born and bred in Guernsey, Annette’s natural storytelling ability and theatrical approach brings the island’s rich heritage to life as she imparts her knowledge in an interesting, informative and above all, interactive way, making her tours suitable for all ages.

Her knowledge of historical events spans from the Neolithic to present day but few realise that the Channel Islands were the only part of British soil occupied by the German Occupying Forces during WWII and this has left a lasting legacy amongst the islanders.

The German Occupation tour covers personal family stories of demilitarization, evacuation, occupation, deportation and eventual liberation of the islanders, and specially arranged visits to a privately owned German bunker or underground tunnels are often regarded as a highlights on this tour.

As an Authorised Civil Celebrant, Annette would be delighted to help you arrange a holiday or short break on the beautiful Islands of Guernsey whilst combining it with a unique, personalised, stress free ceremony in a place of your choice, on any day of the week and at a time to suit you. Friends, family and loved ones there, to share your special day.

So if you are looking for a tour guide or a civil celebrant to create a truly unforgettable day, please contact Annette Henry and together we can make memories.
